I've made some more progress in Project Troid. The basic movement engine is set up, and I'm just making some tweaks to it. All of the movement and animation is working out really well. The player can walk, run, jump, super jump, crouch, crawl, and pull out his different guns. It all looks pretty slick.

I've been wondering what I can do to eliminate the lock & key mechanics of the game, and I've come up with a few ideas, but I've also realized that you can't really do that for 100% of the game. I want to add other abilities. They might not be necessary for beating the end boss, but they will help expand the areas beforehand.
